This notice applies to visits and information submitted through the public M&T Adjusters Corp. lead form. It is limited to the initial inquiry; any file created after a Public Adjuster Contract is signed is also governed by the engagement and notices delivered to the client.
Lead information we collect
The form requires your full name, telephone number, email address, and property ZIP code. You may optionally select a general damage category.
The form does not accept claim narratives, uploads, policy or claim numbers, banking information, Social Security numbers, identification documents, medical information, passwords, or unredacted records. Do not submit those items through the form.

Limited technical records
Hosting and essential network, security, and anti-abuse functions may process or record the IP address, browser or device signals, date, time, requested page or origin, and a verification result. When Cloudflare Turnstile is enabled, Cloudflare may process those technical data and the challenge response or token to distinguish people from automated activity. The WordPress lead record does not store the raw IP address or challenge token.
How M&T uses the information
Authorized M&T staff use lead information to review the inquiry, call the person who submitted it, and arrange an appointment. The system sends the requester an automatic email acknowledgment and creates a private operational notification for the authorized team. M&T may also use limited technical records to secure and troubleshoot the form.
Only when the person selects the optional checkbox may M&T also use the submitted phone number and email for informational and marketing calls, emails, and texts under the displayed authorization. All optional campaigns remain disabled until the suppression, do-not-call, unsubscribe, and provider controls described in the Marketing Communications Terms are configured and tested.
Storage and processing
Lead records are stored in M&T’s access-restricted WordPress lead system hosted by HostGator. Network and security providers, including Cloudflare when Turnstile is enabled, may process limited technical records to deliver and protect the site and screen automated abuse. Google Workspace processes the private operational notification and automatic acknowledgment so authorized staff can respond. If optional consent is selected, mobile carriers or approved communications providers may process the phone number, email, and messages only to provide those communications for M&T. These providers act for M&T and receive only what is needed for their function.
No sale, rental, or third-party advertising
M&T does not sell, rent, or share website lead information or mobile opt-in data for another company’s advertising or marketing. It is available only to authorized M&T personnel and providers performing hosting, email, telephone, or messaging functions for M&T, or when disclosure is required by valid legal process or reasonably necessary to protect the website, M&T, or another person.
Calls, email, and text messages
The required acknowledgment authorizes an ordinary nonpromotional call to the number provided solely to answer the inquiry and arrange an appointment, plus the automatic email acknowledgment. The separate optional checkbox authorizes recurring informational and M&T marketing communications by call, email, and text, including an automated system for selecting or dialing numbers and an artificial or prerecorded voice, recorded message, or prerecorded voicemail. That consent is not a condition of purchasing or receiving services. Frequency varies, message/data rates may apply, and consent may be withdrawn by replying STOP to texts, using an email unsubscribe link, or clearly asking M&T to stop any channel.
Cookies and external content
M&T does not load Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or session recordings. Essential WordPress and security functions, including Cloudflare Turnstile when enabled, may use or read technical storage needed to operate the site and prevent abuse. Technical hosting and security logs are separate from optional features.
When you open the site, the cookie panel lets you accept, reject, or choose optional features. BBB stays blocked until you allow external features; it then receives ordinary technical request data to display its seal under its policy. M&T does not send form fields to BBB. On the Florida site, the Joinchat WhatsApp widget also stays blocked and may store joinchat_views and joinchat_hashes in your browser after permission. A separate choice allows WhatsApp clicks and device type to be recorded in M&T’s system. This does not create a browsing profile or activate other analytics providers.
Cookie settings in every page footer lets you change your choice. We save the version, date, and choices in mt_cookie_choices_v1 in browser local storage for up to 180 days. Choices are separate for each browser and domain and do not authorize marketing communications. When you withdraw external-feature permission, we remove those two Joinchat values, remove the seal, and reload if the widget had already loaded. We cannot erase another provider’s storage; use that provider’s or your browser’s controls. Opening an external link, including WhatsApp, starts a visit governed by that provider’s policy.
Retention
The ordinary WordPress lead record is retained for no more than 365 days and then removed automatically, unless it becomes part of a client file or a legal or security reason requires temporary retention.
Separately, limited records needed to demonstrate marketing consent, revocation, or suppression include the person’s name and submitted contact details—telephone number and email address—together with the disclosure version, choice, source, date and time, cryptographic evidence, and suppression status. These records may be retained for up to five years when needed to comply with law or document compliance. Operational copies in Google Workspace, call or message histories, and technical backups follow those systems’ retention periods and may remain longer when permitted or required by law. You may request earlier deletion; M&T will delete what it can lawfully and technically remove, but it may keep the minimum record needed to honor an opt-out or meet a legal obligation.
Security
M&T uses HTTPS, restricted administrative access, data validation and sanitization, submission limits, form verification, updates, and backups. No system is infallible. Do not send sensitive information or documents through a channel M&T has not approved.
Your requests and opt-out
You may ask to access, correct, or delete your lead information, withdraw optional marketing consent for one or all channels, and direct M&T not to sell your information using the contact details below. M&T does not sell covered information. Reply STOP to cancel texts or HELP for help.
When M&T receives and can match a clear request to the contact, its policy is to apply suppression immediately across every identified marketing channel. If the request says to stop all marketing, M&T suppresses calls, emails, and texts; if it identifies one channel, M&T suppresses that channel. Although applicable law may allow up to 10 business days as an outer maximum, M&T’s policy is prompt, immediate action rather than waiting for that period. We may verify identity or authority before fulfilling an access, correction, or deletion request and retain information allowed by a legal, security, or defense obligation.
Children
The site and services are intended for adults. People under 18 should not submit the form. If we learn that we received a minor’s information without necessary authorization, we will delete it when appropriate.
Separate insurance privacy notice
The Insurance Privacy Notice summarizes practices that may apply to nonpublic personal information after a Public Adjuster Contract is signed. It does not describe or expand the information collected by this form.
Browser preference signals
M&T does not sell or share data for behavioral advertising. As an additional control, an active Global Privacy Control signal keeps external features and optional statistics off even if a previous choice exists. The absence of that signal is not consent.
Changes and effective date
This updated notice is effective September 5, 2026. If practices materially change, M&T will prominently post the change and a revised effective date before it applies when required by law.
